Two times this week I phoned in an order and it was ready for pick-up in about 10 minutes. It was fresh, hot, and packaged with a teriyaki sauce, napkin, and utensils. Staff was nice and the place seemed to be well-kept/clean.

For a quick lunch, with a drink, for under $10, I'm such a happy camper. I can't believe I haven't been going here for my work lunch more often. Also, a Musubi for only $2, that's a steal, and it was also DELICIOUS. I highly recommend the BBQ Chicken Bowl if you're looking for a lunch-sized portion. I'm not a huge fan of macaroni salad, so the chicken and veggies over steamed rice is perfect.

I'm surprised to see such a low rating on this place, they really deserve better!

This is review #1 in a three review set of "Hawaiian BBQ" establishments for me. I tend to go through phases where I crave a particular type of food. From Poke, Chinese, Burgers ect, "Hawaiian BBQ" seems to be what I'm into at the given moment. I love this type of food, although real "Hawaiians" may say this is...."Mainland Influenced" I take it with a grain of salt. People love "Taco Bell" and it's super "Americanized". The thing I love about "Hawaiian BBQ" is the Macaroni Salad, that stuff is amazing, among things. But I wasn't impressed, allow me to tell you how "Ohana Hawaiian BBQ" isn't my family and how I felt left behind....(Sorry Stitch)

    Ohana Hawaiian BBQ:
"Hawaiian BBQ" is a nice alternative from your run of the mill Asian influenced foods. The general premise of this type of food is hearty portions and some of everything. "Hawaiian BBQ" is like potluck food on a plate, it's a little of everything. You got your Chinese, Japanese, Pacific Islander, and American (Mainland) influences throughout. They fell short here though, this establishment could use some serious TLC, you could tell they usually only count on people doing TOGO orders. Some of the tables here were wobbly and needed to be cleaned, and the restaurant itself you could see the decline in presentation as paint was chipping and things aren't payed attention to, at least the restroom was clean and tidy. But I'm writing this review to talk about the food, let me tell you about it..

BBQ Beef Combo $9.65 - On this day I decided to go with the BBQ Beef Combo, I added extra Macaroni Salad ($1.20 per scoop) and a Rockstar ($2.75) to bring the total for this day out to $13.49 (They charge a mandate tax here btw). The BBQ Beef wasn't the best that I've had. They could of used a bit more teriyaki sauce in the cooking process, the meat was on the dry side. The Macaroni Salad was "Absurd" and gross, I hated that I asked for an extra scoop. It has absolutely no flavor, and wasn't like the "Hawaiian" Macaroni Salad that I'm accustomed too. They obviously didn't add the "Anchovy" that sets this style of Mac Salad apart. This was the first time I haven't finished a meal at an "Hawaiian BBQ" establishment. I was pretty disappointed as I have been here before (Pre-Yelp) and I remember the quality was way better, perhaps different owners. Oh, and the meal came with rice also....it was rice, it was well cooked.

    Overall:
I was pretty disappointed with this visit and I think I will pass on "Ohana Hawaiian BBQ" from this point on. Definitely not high on my list of these types of establishments. I wouldn't recommend this place, but I will recommend "Waikiki Hawaiian BBQ" in Concord if you want a close by place to compare and contrast.."Quality" with. I feel sad knowing this place use to be good and it's not now. Sitting in a busy shopping mall plaza, you would expect more from "Ohana" but they just fell short....IMO.

Not too bad for a quick fix of Hawaiian BBQ.

I like that this location is so close to my main office for work; it's a convenient drive up Monument, in a small shopping center that has a GameStop and Subway as well.

They aren't too busy around 12pm. My coworker and I ordered our food and received it all within 15 minutes and made it back to the office in time to eat it. They are pretty efficient and keep the wait times down significantly.

Fountain drink machine is a bit dirty, especially on the sides of it, and there were quite a few flies in the dining area. Other than that, pretty good experience, small wait.

Super disappointed, this place use to have really good Hawaiian bbq.

The only good thing I can say is that they have good portions. Other than that the chicken, rice and macaroni salad tasted old I had to toss after a few bites.

The chicken was super dry and chewing like gum. The rice was dry not fresh at all, the macaroni salad had no flavor what so ever. Last time giving this place my money, don't even bother!

Pretty disappointed in this place. First thing I asked before leaving was, "is there lemon and tartar sauce in the Seafood combo?" The girl said, "yes we always put it in there," and hands me a container of tartar sauce for extra. Got home, there was no lemon and tartar sauce in the Seafood Combo so in part it was a good thing she gave me that "extra" one, right?!?! The bbq beef in the seafood combo was dry, the shrimp batter was still batter on the inside, therefore they didn't cook it all the way. The bbq Chicken & Katsu plate wasn't good either...bbq Chicken had burnt skin and just bland. The Katsu was dry and the sauce tasted like ketchup and soy sauce "spilled" together. It was definitely a waste of money. I don't recommend going here.
